According to this Memorandum, the two parties will enter into an agreement with regard to developing academic and educational cooperation and enhancing mutual understanding particularly in the areas of literature, art, and culture. The two parties included Dr. Rahmat Sadeghi, the President, as well as Dr. Salah Vaisi and Dr. Parsa Yaghoobi, the Deans of Faculty of Language and Literature and Faculty of Art and Architecture respectively from the University of Kurdistan, and Dr. Gisela Welz, the Dean of Faculty of Linguistics, Cultures, and Arts, and Dr. Enrico Scheleiff, the President of Goethe-Universität.
Each Party has agreed to develop the collaborative activities in the academic areas of mutual interest including conducting collaborative research projects, conducting lectures and organizing symposia, exchange of academic information and materials, and exchange of academic staff, researchers, and students.
It is worth noting that Goethe-Universität Frankfurt has more than 45000 students in various fields of study. It also has more than 3600 faculty members and ranked 301 in the latest QS World University Rankings.
