Recent data released by the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) indicates a significant surge in the acquisition of approved research projects by the University of Kurdistan (UOK) during the Iranian calendar year 1404 (2025-2026). According to these reports, the number of approved projects rose from 9 in 1403 to 27 within the first ten months of 1404, marking a substantial 200% increase. This growth rate remarkably exceeds the national average of 32%. Furthermore, the volume of submitted research proposals experienced a 197% increase, rising from 33 to 98. This progression underscores the quantitative and qualitative enhancement of research activities, the efficacy of institutional research policies, and the scholarly prowess of the University of Kurdistan's faculty members.
