According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, Dr. Mohammad Ali Akbari, President of the University of Applied Science and Technology of Iran, officially appointed Dr. Habib Soleimani to this position.

The appointment decree states: "In consideration of your commitment, expertise, and valuable executive experience, you are hereby appointed as the Acting President of the Kurdistan Provincial Unit. It is hoped that with reliance on Almighty God and in collaboration with esteemed colleagues, you will be successful and supported in achieving the university's objectives and serving the noble nation of Iran."

Furthermore, in a separate letter, Dr. Akbari expressed his gratitude for the dedicated efforts of Dr. Shahin Fakoor during his tenure in this role.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Habib Soleimani is an Associate Professor at the University of Kurdistan. His previous administrative roles include Director of International Relations, Head of the President's Office, and Director of Cultural and Social Planning at the University of Kurdistan. He has also served as a member of the Internationalization Working Group for the National Science and Technology Parks and as the Secretary of the National Festival of Creative Industries.
