Explanatory Meeting on "University, Insight, and Resistance" Held at the University of Kurdistan
According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, this meeting took place on Monday, January 5th (Dey 15), in observance of "Insight and Resistance Week," aiming to elucidate the role of universities in promoting the culture of self-sacrifice, insight, and resistance.
The session addressed key issues such as the role of the people and Leadership (Velayat) in the victory and continuity of the Islamic Revolution, the importance of trust in divine promises, and the analysis of enemy threats and conspiracies ranging from the early days of the Revolution to recent unrest. Topics included coups, the Imposed War (Iran-Iraq War), sanctions, and cultural and cognitive warfare waged by the hegemonic system.
Furthermore, the discussion highlighted the culture of insight and resistance as the primary factor in preserving the Revolution and preventing enemy infiltration. The importance of maintaining national unity and security against threats, as well as the role of universities and professors in transmitting the culture of sacrifice and resistance to future generations, were also examined.
Speaking at the event, Brigadier General Jamshid Rezaei, Commander of the Beit-ol-Moqaddas Corps of Kurdistan, identified public insight and adherence to Leadership as the key to the Islamic Revolution's ability to overcome all crises. He stated, "Wherever the Islamic Revolution has successfully navigated historical turning points and emerged victorious, it has been the result of the people's insight, trust in divine promises, and the presence of Velayat (Guardianship) at the head of the religious government."
Honoring the memory of the 5,536 martyrs of Kurdistan Province, General Rezaei added, "The Islamic Revolution marked the beginning of fundamental transformations in Iran and the world, introducing pure Muhammadan Islam into the arena of politics and governance."
He noted that the secret to the Revolution's endurance lies in the conscious presence of the people and the wise leadership of the Imams of the Revolution, asserting, "The factor that prevented this Revolution from deviating from its path, unlike many historical revolutions, has been this very conscious presence of the people and their trust in the Leadership."
Referring to the continuous hostilities of the hegemonic system, the Commander said, "From coups and the Imposed War to sanctions, cognitive warfare, and riots, enemies have tried to stop the Islamic Revolution, but they have not succeeded in any of their strategic goals."
In conclusion, emphasizing the need to appreciate divine blessings, especially security and independence, he remarked, "Despite economic challenges, the Iranian people have not abandoned their country and Leadership, which is a clear sign of their insight and faith."
