Message from the Director of International Affairs of the University of Kurdistan
Welcome to the University of Kurdistan.
It is a source of great pleasure and honor to welcome all international students, professors, researchers, and academic partners on behalf of the University of Kurdistan. I hope your presence at the University of Kurdistan marks the beginning of a valuable experience in the path of learning, research, innovation, as well as scientific and cultural interactions.
As one of the comprehensive and prestigious universities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the University of Kurdistan—benefiting from competent faculty members, extensive research capacities, and a dynamic, multicultural environment—has always considered the development of scientific and international collaborations as a core pillar of its strategies. We believe that the advancement of science and technology in today's world depends, more than ever, on dialogue, synergy, and cooperation among universities and scholars worldwide.
The Office of International Affairs, aiming to expand cross-border scientific interactions, develop strategic collaborations with universities, research centers, and international organizations, support student and staff exchange programs, implement joint research projects, and recruit and support international students, is striving with all its might to realize the university's international vision.
In this journey, our efforts are not limited merely to developing scientific cooperation; rather, we intend to provide a dynamic, safe, and friendly environment based on mutual respect—a space where students and researchers from diverse nationalities and cultures can benefit from educational and research opportunities while gaining a lasting experience of academic life in Iran and familiarizing themselves with the rich Iranian and Kurdish cultures.
Whether you intend to pursue your studies, undertake a sabbatical, conduct joint research projects, benefit from scientific exchange programs, or initiate institutional collaborations with the University of Kurdistan, rest assured that our colleagues at the Office of International Affairs will accompany and support you from the initial stages of communication, admission, and visa acquisition, through to your settlement, studies, and graduation.
We do not view the university merely as a place for education; we recognize it as a platform for the formation of new ideas, the exchange of experiences, intercultural dialogue, and the creation of sustainable scientific collaborations. We believe that every international collaboration is a step toward enhancing the quality of education and research, strengthening scientific diplomacy, and fulfilling the university's effective role in sustainable development and solving global challenges.
I invite you to closely explore the scientific, research, and international opportunities at the University of Kurdistan and join our growing academic community. I hope that by relying on knowledge, innovation, and constructive collaborations, we can shape a brighter future for science, higher education, and the global community.
We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Kurdistan.
