Message from the Director of International Affairs
Our Vision: Bridging Knowledge, Culture, and Innovation in the Heart of Kurdistan
In the Name of God
In today's interconnected world, the "University" serves as the primary hub for scientific diplomacy and cultural dialogue, transcending geographical borders. The University of Kurdistan, drawing upon the rich cultural heritage and historical significance of this region, along with the expertise of its distinguished faculty and researchers, takes pride in acting as a bridge between scholars and students worldwide.
The Office of International Affairs at the University of Kurdistan is dedicated to steering the university's internationalization process. Our strategic roadmap is built upon three fundamental pillars:
-
Elevating Global Academic Standing: Consistently striving for a commanding presence in international ranking systems (such as THE and Shanghai) and enhancing the quality of scientific research through international collaboration.
-
Expanding Academic Engagement: Creating a sustainable platform for faculty and student mobility, joint research projects, and facilitating sabbatical opportunities for scientific elites.
-
Hosting Cultures: We welcome international students with open arms, offering them not only high-quality education but also a secure environment enriched by cultural diversity, opportunities to learn the Persian language, and immersion in the rich Iranian culture.
In this office, we are committed to providing all necessary infrastructure—from intelligent admission systems to specialized advisory and welfare support—to ensure that the educational experience at the University of Kurdistan is distinct, impactful, and memorable.
I invite all academics, researchers, and international students to join the growing family of the University of Kurdistan and accompany us on this journey of development and excellence. Together, we can undoubtedly find innovative solutions to global challenges and shape a brighter future for the scientific community.
