Academic Calendar

Academic Calendar for International Students at the University of Kurdistan:

First Semester:
- Starts in late September and ends in late January
- International student acceptance starts on April 1st
- Deadline for online registration of non-Persian speaking international applicants is June 5th
- Official acceptance letters are issued and sent from June 5th to July 5th
- Persian language courses start on June 5th
- Deadline for online registration of Persian-speaking international applicants is August 6th
- Official acceptance letters are issued and sent from August 6th to September 6th
- Students can register and choose courses between September 15th and September 25th
- Orientation for new international students is held in the third week of October
- University of Kurdistan International Day is held in the third week of December

Second Semester:
- Starts in mid-February and ends in late July
- International student acceptance starts on November 1st
- Deadline for online registration of international applicants is January 1st
- Official acceptance letters are issued and sent from January 1st to January 30th
- Students can register and choose courses between February 1st and February 20th
- Orientation for new international students is held in the first week of February
