The International Affairs Office of the University of Kurdistan is inviting applications from 2 undergraduate (BA / BSc) students and 2 academic staff in the fields of Business and Applied Computer Science, Electronics, and ICT to participate in the Summer School Programme at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Belgium for 1 week starting on 1^st September 2024.

1. Eligibility and Registration Documents for Students

• Only Undergraduate (BA / BSc) Students in the fields of Business, Applied Computer Science, Electronics and ICT Should Apply
• The applicant's overall GPA must be higher than the average GPA of their program.
• Applicants must be fluent in the English Language. The applicant must have a valid English language certificate at the B2 level or above
• The applicant must have passed at least two terms at the University of Kurdistan
• The applicant must submit an academic resume (CV) in English.
• The applicant must submit a motivation letter.
• The applicant must submit an official transcript.

2. Eligibility and Registration Documents for Academic Staff

Interested academic staff in the fields of Business, Applied Computer Science, Electronics and ICT should:

• Submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV) in English
• Demonstrate proficiency in English language (B2 Level)
• Willing to take part in an English Language Proficiency Test organized by the International Affairs Office (if necessary)

Selection process:

After an initial evaluation of applications, qualified students and staff will be invited to an English-language interview.

Program details:

• Program duration: One Week
• Program start date: 1^st September
• Program end date: 7^th September
• Program location: Thomas More Campus National, Kronenburgstraat 62, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium
• Finances:

Students will receive 70€ per day + a travel allowance of 820€.

Staff will receive 160€ per day + a travel allowance of 820€.
