Meeting of the Director of International Affairs with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Council to Review Educational Processes for Non-Iranian Students
According to the Directorate of International Affairs, following the continuous and interactive programs of the University of Kurdistan's Directorate of International Affairs with various faculties to monitor and improve the status of international students, a joint meeting was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
This meeting was convened at the official invitation of Dr. Bakhtiar Javaheri, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and was attended by Dr. Hossein Bevrani, Director of International Affairs, and Dr. Himan Nourbakhsh, Director of International Students.
At the beginning of this meeting, which was attended by deputies, heads of educational departments, and council members, Dr. Javaheri welcomed the attendees and introduced the council members, emphasizing the importance of paying special attention to the academic and cultural needs of non-Iranian students.
Subsequently, Dr. Bivarani, while thanking the faculty for their dedicated perspective, sincerely appreciated the relentless efforts of the dean, faculty members, and staff in successfully advancing the processes of admission, education, and guidance for international students, describing the role of educational departments as key to the success of the university's internationalization project.
A major part of this meeting was dedicated to exchanging views, identifying challenges, and brainstorming.
In this section, department heads and faculty deputies shared their perspectives, raised existing challenges in the educational path of non-Iranian students, and offered practical suggestions to elevate the quality of services provided to this group of students.
In conclusion, while transparently answering the questions and concerns raised by the professors, the Director of International Affairs emphasized the necessity of continuing such bilateral collaborations and continuous synergy between the International Directorate and the faculties. He also expressed gratitude for the exemplary support and empathy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in developing the university's international interactions
