The University of Kurdistan was recognized by the Center for Scientific and International Cooperation as the top university in the country in scientific and international interactions.

The letter of appreciation awarded to the President of the University, signed by Dr. Hossein Salar Amoli, Director of the Center for Scientific and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Dr. Massoud Sadri Nasab, Director of the Center for Scientific and International Cooperation Studies, states that based on evaluations conducted in 2016-2017 , University of Kurdistan is recognized as the top university in the country in scientific and international interactions.
